Project Overview: Rakernas APINDO 2024

Held in March 2024, the National Coordination Meeting (Rakernas) of APINDO brought together key business leaders, government representatives, and economic thinkers to address the pressing challenges in Indonesia's national and global economy. Themed “Collective Action: Building Certainty, Accelerating Transformation”, the event emphasized synergy between government and entrepreneurs to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience.

The forum featured strategic dialogue sessions with Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, as well as other national figures including Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and Bappenas Minister Suharso Monoarfa. Each speaker brought insights on national strategies, regulatory reforms, fiscal policy, and investment climate in the post-pandemic era.

One of the key highlights was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between APINDO and the Ministry of Manpower, signaling a formal partnership to strengthen collaboration in employment and labor development. This joint initiative aims to improve workforce competencies, enhance industrial relations, and create a more adaptive labor ecosystem aligned with global standards.
